Melanie Melnyk brings over eighteen years of planning experience and a balanced perspective serving both the public and private sectors. As a former planner with the City of Toronto, she has managed a range of development applications of varying types and scope, as well as several special assignments including block and area studies, involving extensive research, consultation and implementation strategies.
Melanie is well versed in policy and site planning issues, and understands the importance of balancing technical requirements with sound urban design principles to ensure the appropriate relationship of a development within its urban context. She is a skilled communicator and offers extensive experience in community consultation with a variety of stakeholders, to bring mutual understanding and creative solutions to the planning process.
