Malek is an urban planner who is passionate about equitable urban development, adpative reuse, community planning, and mapping. Prior to joining R.E. Millward + Associates, Malek worked in cultural heritage planning, where he engaged in archival research, assessments of value, and analysis of impact of contemporary developments on heritage buildings.
Malek brings experience in research, policy analysis, and project coordination through work in the private sector as well as academic institutions and non-profit organizations around the Greater Toronto Area.
