City of Toronto Condo Consultation
The City of Toronto initiated a Condominium Consultation to engage with condo residents and boards, businesses located in condo buildings, property managers, City staff and others to identify possible changes to City policies as they relate to condo living in Toronto. Working as part of a team of consultants led by Swerhun Facilitaiton, R.E. Millward + Associates provided planning policy expertise throughout the consultation process. This involved the preparation and delivery of a survey, a series of public consultations with residents and other interest groups, and the development of a final recommendations report. The report was delivered to the City for staff review in January of 2014, and outlines a number of potential approaches to mitigating the issues currently faced by condominium stakeholders.
